What is a blog? …“Blog” is an abbreviated version of “weblog,” which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog features diary-type commentary and links to articles on other Web sites and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects…
Each of our year groups will have access to their own class blog where the pupils will share their learning and will be able to develop their writing skills as they will be writing for a wider audience.
Do feel free to comment on the children’s writing and ideas, one thing to be aware of is that all comments will be moderated before going live on the site .
Thank you for your support and happy blogging!
Today some of the girls found some daffodils that were dying. I asked them why the dafodils were dying and we took them inside to share with the rest of the class. We looked at all the different parts of a flower and discussed what flowers need to survive. Following on from this we held a Collective Worship to thank God for our wonderful world.

Reception have been praying for the sick.
The children can orally retell the story of the snowman. Ask your child to tell you the story at home.
The children in Reception love to listen to stories. They have practised the story of Cindrella and can now tell the story using actions. Let us know what you think!
Reception have been looking at the skin from a snake! The children were very good at describing what it felt and looked like. They then wanted to find out why the snake no longer needed its skin and wanted to learn some facts about snakes.
