WELL DONE everyone on another GREAT week! Every class is working hard and classrooms are looking so good with excellent work displayed. It is hard to believe we are approaching half term it certainly has flown!
Class 3 enjoyed their ‘Stone Age’ workshop on Wednesday afternoon as part of their topic work. It is quite a challenging topic especially for the children to imagine life in the Stone Age but this history workshop really helps as the lady who delivers it is completely in role. Well done Class 3!
In Monday’s assembly we reflected on the Feast of Guardian Angels (2nd October) and how angels often bring a message and watch over us. The children were brilliant with their answers and insights. Our Pupil Chaplains led us in prayer and have been very busy this week on Prayer Duty. Our prayer intention basket was full in Friday’s assembly so we had to pick some out and remember all our intentions together. Keep up the prayers everyone!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
My apologies I did not give you a final figure for funds raised as we still had cakes left over and sold those on Monday. The final figure was: £165 – FANTASTIC! Sincere thanks for your generosity and support to such a worthy cause. All part of our Mission Statement ‘to reach out to others’.
The PSA are busy organising their next event and looking at other ways to promote events. Please keep your eyes out for text messages and promotions coming soon!

As we think about guardian angels and how God cares and loves each one of us I asked the children if they could be guardian angels to one another over the week. I have seen some lovely examples of that throughout the week such as the KS2 child helping the Reception child by taking their hand and guiding them. The friend who comforted their friend when they weren’t well and kept them company. Keep up the great work everyone!
We look forward to another SUPER week!
